A string of murders of young women in a London park draws Detective Bill Barry out of retirement. A detective story strewn with red herrings, first published in six episodes in The Sunday Times between 13th of July and 28th of September 1975. Readers were invited to offer solutions to the mystery, with the winning entry published for the first time in book form along-side the author's (completely different) denouement.
