No. 86 of an edition of 150 copies, the first 50 of which were signed by the poet. This copy signed subsequently by the Author at an event at the Martin Harris Centre, Manchester.

A single poem. An oblique look at Barnardine's flat-out refusal to be executed in place of the fornicator, Claudio, in Shakespeare's Measure for Measure: "I swear I will not die to-day for any man's persuasion".
