First Thus. 8vo. Pp. 43, [1]. Stiff orange printed wrappers. Yellow dustjacket printed in purple and black, with the original price of 12s 6d net on the inside front flap. Early poems collected by John Hayward and privately printed in 1950 by Bonniers of Stockholm in an edition limited to 12 copies. With a brief Note by Valerie Eliot, stating "[it] incorporates comments by T.S. Eliot on one of the poems".
An immaculate copy in an uncalled for trade-issue dustwrapper with a darkened patch left over front flap pricing from sticker removal; light toning to spine and folds, slight creasing to top edges, else also fine.
Thirteen poems written between winter of 1904 and spring of 1910, when Eliot was still in high school and then Harvard, plus one written slightly later.
