Edited collection of the nearly two-decades long correspondence between two literary giants of the 20th century, primarily preserved in the Henry W. & Albert A. Berg Collection, at the New York Public Library, during which some 500 letters were exchanged. The central character of Woolf's novel Orlando (1928) is said to have been based on Sackville-West.
