First and only edition. 8vo. Pp. 41, [1 (blank)]. Quarter-bound black cloth over black and gold marbled paper boards by Anne Muir, decorative printed labels to cover and spine. Illustration by Catherine Heaney, linocuts by Bert Eastman and title-page calligraphy by Diana Hardy Wilson. No. 106 of 230 copies handset in Garamond and printed on various Zerkall mould-made papers by Graham Moss and Kathy Whalen of Incline Press. Backstrip cloth and marbled board colouring and patterning differed throughout the limited print run. With the original prospectus loosely inserted.
Twenty-two poems or prose pieces by members of Seamus Heaney's extended family commemorating a midsummer gathering, with the poet himself contributing half of them.
