Originally published by the San Diego State University Press in 1972 (in an edition of 2000 numbered copies), as a gift for subscribers to the 'Virginia Woolf Quarterly'. Author's juvenilia, written in 1892 at the age of ten. Reproduced here sans editing of punctuation or spelling, along with its sequel: "The Experiences of a Pater-familias."
