Flimsy, war economy standard dust wrapper rubbed and chipped to edges.
Author's sixth poetry collection – a nine-poem sequence. Member of the prominent Whistler artistic family, numbering the artist, designer and illustrator, Rex Whistler [his elder brother], and the author's second wife, Theresa Whistler [née Furse], poet, children's author and biographer, amongst others. Initial recipient of the King's Gold Medal for Poetry (1935), Whistler was elected as the first President of the British Guild of Glass Engravers in 1975, a profession in which he excelled.
