A collection of short stories about a legendary Australian sheepdog, immortalised by a bronze statue outside the town of Dampier in outback Western Australia. Inspired by a late 1990's visit to the area by the author as a guest of honour in its first ever literary dinner: "I felt straight away that I had to find out more about this splendid dog... and spent two glorious weeks driving around collecting Red Dog stories and visiting the places that he knew".
