A knockabout comedy and vicious satire on the Catholic Church, with a cast of historical characters, including philosopher Roland Barthes, Jean Genet and Argentine writer Manuel Puig. Goytisolo was often referred to as 'Spain's greatest living author', during his lifetime. Recipient of the Cervantes Prize in 2014.
